Meldrim - Anthony Elvis Williams, age 24, died May 4, 2004. The Chatham
County native lived in Effingham where he graduated from Effingham High
School where he played baseball. He played for Brewton Parker College
and also played for Effingham County Recreation department. Anthony also
enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Elvis and
Linda G. Williams of Statesboro; brother and sister -in-law, Adrien and
Karla Williams of Statesboro, niece, Storm Williams; nephew, Austin
Williams; grandmother, Ruby Hill of Greensville, NC and numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral
home. Funeral: 3 p.m. on Friday in the Chapel of the funeral home. Thomas
